The Contest:
Each week, New Yorker cartoonists submit a cartoon without a caption. The reader who submits the best caption wins a signed cartoon, and basks in the glory that comes with international recognition. Understandably, the competition is fierce, but not as fierce as the (as of yet nascent) rivalry between Marblehead’s AP 11 and AP 12 classes.

Your charge: New cartoons are released each Tuesday. Your captions may be submitted until Thursday midnight. You may vote on the winning caption until Friday midnight. MHS AP English’s best will be submitted by Mr. Ryan and/or Ms. Oestermeyer (moments before the deadline).
